The first two targets above are sighting in. The third target is a change of powder and charge that produced 1500fps. Note All loads used our 375 gr. slug.  The last image is an enlargementof the best group produced which was from the light 8700 load fired after sighting in. Truly phenomenal results by  "America's Finest 410 ga. Slug Barrels".  Anyone else want a 410 slug gun?

The Star Crimp load does not require sizing and is powerful and accurate. Changes to slug weight, diameter, shape, and powder changes will probably improve its accuracy. However it is not the most accurate method of loading for the HBBS 410 and for this reason not as much time and development has been devoted to it. Even so, can your slug gun shoot a group like this at 100 yards? Compare these to 45/70 loads and ballistics. Can the willie big buck deer get far enough away during shotgun slug season next year?
