Barrel break in and cleaning techniques

Barrel break in is a very important process that should be done to every new barrel. It seasons the bore and has great effect on how well it shoots and how it resists fouling in the future. I recommend Tetra gun cleaning products for the break in period and all general cleaning of HBBS barrels.

First clean your new barrel, wipe it dry, then give it a good coat of Tetra Gun Lubricant.
Shoot one and clean for the first ten rounds.
Shoot three and clean for the next thirty rounds.
Shoot five and clean until gun is sighted in.
Be sure to apply the Tetra Gun Lubricant after each cleaning during the break in
 process.
Never shoot a dry bore, it will greatly promote fouling!

I know this is a lot of work, but it is well worth your time. It will really pay off in the long run.

Thank you for choosing HBBS Products,

Ed Hoening
